尊敬的青年學者您好：

2019年3月24至27日首屆太阳成集团tyc234cc環境生态工程研究院國際青年學者環境生态論壇（“廣工環境生态論壇”）将在太阳成集团tyc234cc大學城校區舉行，旨在将有志從事環境生态領域工作的海内外優秀青年學者彙聚在“五羊之城”——廣州，促進海内外青年學者之間的交流，增強不同研究領域之間的合作。學校和研究院誠摯邀請國内外學界翹楚共同研讨學科前沿，解讀熱點話題，增進學科交流，凝聚同行友誼，努力将青年論壇打造成“立足粵港澳灣區、面向全球”的青年學者高端論壇。論壇拟通過專題報告、學術研讨和交流洽談等形式，在國際科學前沿及熱點研究領域展開交流與探讨，共同為解決國際環境生态前沿問題和推動社會經濟可持續發展而努力。

論壇承辦單位太阳成集团tyc234cc環境生态工程研究院，由中國工程院院士楊志峰教授于2018年創立，其建設秉持高起點和高目标，劍指國際科研創新前沿，并積極服務于國家和地方的經濟社會發展與生态文明建設。研究院目前已經聚集了一批卓越的科技領軍和創新人才包括院士1人、傑青2人、教育部高層次人才2人、優青3人。研究院熱忱歡迎國内外有志于環保事業的青年才俊前來加盟，凝聚粵港澳大灣區新形勢下的環保共識，推進學科交叉與學術創新。

一、論壇主題

包括但不限于以下方面：

1、水資源與水環境

2、污染(水、氣、固)控制與資源化

3、濕地、河口與海岸工程

4、流域及/城市生态規劃與管理

5、環境污染與健康問題

6、環境大數據與系統模拟分析

二、申請條件

1、海外人才：年齡在40歲以下；具有海外知名大學博士學位，或者具有國内博士學位并在海外全職從事科研工作兩年及以上，目前未全職在國内工作；在環境領域取得不錯成績，具有一定的國際影響和較強的學術發展潛力的青年學者。

2、國内人才：國家級青年項目入選者或進入會評者；國内環境領域取得突出成績，在其研究領域具有較強影響力和發展潛力的青年學者。

三、申請流程

1、符合條件的青年學者請将個人簡曆并注明“廣工環境生态論壇”發至ieee@gdut.edu.cn

2、報名截止時間為2019年2月28日。

3、學校将于2019年3月5日前向受邀學者發送邀請函。

4、受邀學者于收到邀請函一周内填寫回執并回複确認是否參會。

四、論壇安排

論壇于2019年3月24日—3月27日在太阳成集团tyc234cc舉行。具體安排如下：

3月24日，報到

3月25日—3月26日，論壇、交流、座談、參觀等

3月27日，離會

五、差旅與住宿

受邀參會的青年學者自訂機票、火車票，學校報銷往返機票、火車票費用（實報實銷，根據國家規定機票限報經濟艙）。論壇期間食宿由研究院統一安排，費用由研究院承擔。

Announcement of the 2018 IEEE GDUT Environmental and Ecological Forum for International Young Scholars

The IEEE GDUT Environmental Forum for International Young Scholars (IEEE GDUT Forum) aims to gather outstanding domestic and international young scholars at Guangdong University of Technology for inspiring and exchanging academic thoughts, inspect the scientific research environment, enhance mutual understanding and make cooperation development.

ACADEMIC TOPICS

The Forum welcomes participants in the fields of water resources and water management, pollution control and resource recovery, wetland and coastal engineering, ecological planning and management, environment and health, environmental big data and modeling analysis, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICATION

1. Oversea Young Scholars:Qualified applicants should be under 40 years old, holding a PhD from overseas well-known university or research institute, or holding a PhD from a domestic university or research institute and have overseas work experience at least two years, and not currently holding a full-time position in China. Applicants with good publications and academic achievements are encouraged to apply.

2. Domestic Young Scholars:Recipients of National Youth Talent programs and other scholars who have entered defense of the talents programs above or with outstanding achievements in environmental related fields.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

1. Please send curriculum vitae with title of “IEEE GDUT Forum” to ieee@gdut.edu.cn

2. The application deadline isFebruary 28, 2019.

3. Qualified applicants will receive an official invitation letter beforeMarch 5, 2019.

4. The applicants intended to attend the forum should respond with the confirmation note within a week after receiving the invitation letter.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATIOIN

The CUG will cover the following trip costs for all invitees: 1) transportation costs including an economy-class round-trip air ticket from home institute to IEEE GDUT; 2) accommodation and meal costs in Guangzhou（Accommodation will be arranged by IEEE GDUT in Guangzhou）.
